Roberta Flack, an absolute legend of a singer, has died at the age of 88, per Variety, who cited a statement from her rep: “We are heartbroken that the glorious Roberta Flack passed away this morning, February 24, 2025. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. Roberta broke boundaries and records. She was also a proud educator.”
She was an incredible R&B talent who sang some of the most beloved songs, and those included some of the duets with the similarly legendary Donny Hathaway.
