Broome poured in 31 points while adding 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks as Auburn improved to 25-2 overall and 13-1 in the rugged SEC.

And as the senior forward claimed yet another milestone in a season of them, he is nearing another one. With Saturday’s dominant performance on the scoring sheet and on the boards, Broome now has 17 double-doubles this season for the Tigers. Broome is now 1 double-double away from tying Auburn’s all-time single-season record, which is held by Mike Mitchell, who had 18 of them all the way back in the 1974-75 season.
