— LSU Baseball (@LSUbaseball) February 21, 2025It’s the second time this week that the Tigers have had to make schedule changes due to weather. LSU was scheduled to play at Nicholls on Wednesday. There was inclement weather in southeast Louisiana, and the game was called off. The in-state programs will now meet on Monday in Baton Rouge and on April 8 in Thibodaux. The April 8 was originally scheduled for Alex Box Stadium.
Skipper Jay Johnson may start to get a feel for his pitching depth as he juggles 4 games in 4 days including a doubleheader. Tiger hurlers had an excellent start to the season, logging 45 strikeouts in the season-opening series against Purdue Fort Wayne.
