In updates on his Instagram Stories, via Page Six, Umansky praised the healthcare workers and others who helped him through the ordeal, writing atop a photo from the hospital, “I feel so blessed to be taken care of by such amazing humans. Ski patrol, paramedics, Aspen Hospital, you’re all the best."
Umansky declared that he suffered a broken clavicle, even showing his X-ray as he wrote, "Let’s get this surgery done so I can heal. Play hard sometimes you get hurt. But the care here has been incredible."
He also showed a video of his rescue, with ski patrol having to retrieve him from the ski slopes after the unexpected injury. Umansky shared no further details about the injury or the accident that led to it, but he appeared to be in good spirits.
