Over 125 pounds of marijuana found in car: CHP ...Middle East

(KRON) – More than 125 pounds of marijuana was found in a vehicle, California Highway Patrol posted on its social media on Saturday. 

CHP Contra Costa officers pulled over a car for speeding at an undisclosed time. The officers noticed multiple garbage bags of marijuana. Following a preliminary investigation, it was determined it was more than 125 pounds of marijuana.

The driver and the passenger were arrested for drug possession charges, according to CHP.

CHP asks residents if they witness suspicious activity or impaired driving, report it to their local CHP office or call 911.
