Alabama is getting set for a matchup at Coleman Coliseum against No. 1 Auburn.
The Iron Bowl of Basketball has never been a 1-vs-2 matchup until today. And, judging by the fact that students filled their section of the arena essentially as soon as the door opened, this will be a barnburner and arguably the regular season game of the year in men’s college baskeball.
Alabama‘s social media team released a photo of the team’s jerseys not long before tipoff. As you can see below, the Tide will be wearing crimson jerseys with white trim, with the words “Crimson Tide” and their player number on the front:

A loss by either team won’t ruin those prospects, but it will go a long way in giving the winner much-needed momentum as the SEC and NCAA Tournaments are right around the corner.
The Tide currently lead the all-time series 102-68. Alabama won 3 in a row in the series before Auburn broke the streak on Feb. 7, 2024, running away with a 99-81 victory at Neville Arena over the then-No- 16 Tide as they made a school-record 40 free throws.
