The Weld RE-4 School District community has a chance to meet Ridgeline Middle School’s principal before the building opens in the fall of 2025.
Principal Joshua Mallicoat will host an event to interact with future Ridgeline Middle School families from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 in the Buckeye Room of the Windsor Community Recreation Center, according to a Weld RE-4 news release. Families can ask questions and learn about the school’s construction progress, vision and registration information.
Light refreshments will be provided.

In November 2022, voters passed a $271-million bond package in Weld RE-4 to build a new 155,000-square-foot middle school at 34429 Weld County Road 15 in Windsor, the release said.
Ridgeline Middle School will house up to 900 students and include features like an innovation commons and design lab, culinary and industrial arts classrooms, outdoor classrooms, community gardens, sports fields, track and an outdoor play area, according to the release. The new facility will also have 300 student small learning communities for gathering and collaboration space adjacent to classrooms, technology resources, teacher work areas and support offices.
