Bob W, the tech-powered hospitality provider, has exchanged contracts with Aroundtown, one of Europe’s leading listed real estate groups, to launch a 52-unit serviced apartment offer in a former post office building in Dortmund, Germany.The operator has signed a long term lease for 3,300 sq m at the Alte Post building, a former post office adjacent to Dortmund’s main railway station. The refurbished, mixed-use asset also hosts over 10,000 sq m of high-quality office space, as well as retail and commercial facilities. The aparthotel will be Bob W’s fifth in Germany, a key target market for the operator, featuring a selection of high-quality, furnished 30 sq m studio and 40 sq m one-bedroom apartments with kitchens and a co-working lounge. It will take the total number of European cities in which Bob W operates to 18 across 10 countries, with further expansion planned.
