Bet of the day – Crystal Palace to beat Brentford – 1/1
Crystal Palace look to have got over their difficult start to the season and they look a strong bet to get the better of London rivals Brentford at Selhurst Park.
A 5-1 home loss to Arsenal has been the only defeat Oliver Glasner’s side have suffered in their last 11 league matches and that bodes well for a visit from the travel-sick Bees.
Thomas Frank’s team were stung by two late Darwin Nunez goals against Liverpool last week and their only win in seven games came at bottom-of-the-table Southampton.
Just five of their 28 points have come on the road and they were also dumped out of the FA Cup by Championship strugglers Plymouth recently, so the Eagles should maintain their push for a top-10 spot.

Long shot of the day – Dundee United to beat Rangers – 4/1
Rangers have already drawn 1-1 at home to Dundee United and claimed a 1-0 win at Tannadice, but it is worth chancing that the Terrors can get the better of them this weekend.
The Gers have won just four of their last 16 away Scottish Premiership matches and the big gap between them and champions Celtic could be stretched further.
After gaining promotion last season, United have had a great season back in the top flight and confidence should not be an issue following four wins in their last six matches.
Their defence has been solid on their own patch, with just two goals conceded in their last six home league outings, so it is worth chancing they can get the better of their Glasgow visitors at 4/1.
