Hamas hands 4 female Israeli soldiers to the Red Cross after parading them before a crowd.

Dozens of Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters arrived at a key square in Gaza City on Saturday, where four Israeli women soldiers were expected to be handed over to the Red Cross, an AFP reporter said.

The fighters, carrying assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, gathered in rows, many holding their groups' banners and wearing green headbands, as crowds of Gaza residents gathered around them to watch.

Hours earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu raised an objection to the list of names of captives to be released, accusing Hamas of breaking the ceasefire agreement.

After consultations with security chiefs, Netanyahu decided against derailing the exchange.

Israel is set to release a list of hundreds of Palestinian detainees to be released.
