The defeat at the Lincoln Financial Field put an end to hopes of another Super Bowl this season.

The Eagles advanced from the Divisional round to face the Washington Commanders.

The two will face off next Sunday in the NFC Championship Game.

But it was Stafford’s future that had everyone talking following the weekend tie.

The QB is 36-years-old, and there has been rumors it might be the end of his glittering career.

However, he seemed to suggest he would like to carry on playing.

Stafford hinted at taking a break this offseason to talk to his family over his long-term plans.

“As far as my future goes, it’s 30 minutes after the last game so I’ll take some time to think about it,” he said.

“But I feel like I was playing some pretty good ball.”

He was then asked if he still has “good football” left in him.

“Sure feels like it,” he replied.

Stafford threw for 324 yards and two touchdown against the Eagles.

That was despite a heavy snow storm battering the stadium for most of the showdown.

But he could not complete a late fourth-down opportunity, which ended any Rams’ hopes.

Stafford agreed to re-work his contract in the last offseason.

He gave up any guarantees for the 2025 NFL campaign.

The veteran essentially signed a one-year deal, worth $40 million.

Stafford won his first Super Bowl in 2022 with the Rams.

He has a big family at home, wife Kelly and their four children.

The quarterback was drafted into the NFL by the Detroit Lions in 2009.

He has gone on to reach two Pro Bowls.
