Resurrection Christian 77, Wray 23: The visiting Cougars outscored Wray 27-0 in the first quarter on the way to a 3A Patriot League win. The win was the ninth in a row to start the season for Resurrection Christian, 2-0 in the league. Aaron Tena scored nine points for Wray, 0-3 in the league and 5-7 overall.
Windsor Charter Academy 91, Wiggins 53: The Firebirds won their 12th straight game since the start of the season in a 3A Patriot League win. Windsor Charter led 25-8 after the first quarter and 50-23 at halftime. Windsor Charter is 2-0 in the league. Wiggins is 0-2 in the league and 5-6 overall.
Highland 68, Platte Valley 51: The Huskies extended their season-long winning streak to 11 games with a 3A Patriot League victory over the Broncos. Senior Sawyer Morgan scored 31 points for Highland, now 2-0 in the league. Platte Valley is 0-1 in the league and 3-8 overall.
Mountain View 71, Northridge 42: Dylan Garland scored 38 points for Mountain View in the Mountain Lions’ Class 5A/4A Longs Peak League win. Mountain View is 6-1 in the league and 8-6 overall. Northridge is 1-5 in the league and 3-8 overall.
Berthoud 62, Roosevelt 49: Berthoud outscored the Roughriders 36-26 in the second half of the teams’ Class 5A/4A Longs Peak League win. Berthoud is 2-4 in the league and 3-9 overall. Roosevelt has a 3-3 league record and 7-6 overall.
Severance 82, Wellington 20: Christian Powell scored 21 points for Severance, Blake Varney added 15 points and eight other Silver Knights players scored at least two points in a Class 5A/4A Longs Peak League win. The 82 points is a season high for Severance, 5-1 in the league and 8-5 overall. Wellington is 0-6 and 0-12.
Windsor 66, Poudre 51: The Wizards won their fifth straight game and eighth of the last nine with a Class 6A/5A/4A Northern League win over Poudre. Windsor is 3-0 in the league and 11-3 overall. Poudre is 1-2 and 5-7.
Fossil Ridge 90, Greeley West 40: The SaberCats sent Greeley West to its seventh straight loss in a Class 6A/5A/4A Northern League game. Fossil Ridge is 3-1 in the league and 8-6 overall. Greeley West is 0-4 in the league and 1-11 overall.
Union Colony 85, Gilpin County 40: The Timberwolves raced out to an early lead, going up 29-11 in the first quarter and 57-19 at halftime in a Class 3A/2A/1A Mile High League win.
Girls basketball
Resurrection Christian 61, Wray 36: The Cougars have won 11 straight games since the start of their season in early December after a Class 3A Patriot League win over 1-win Wray. Senior Olivia Klein led Resurrection Christian with 23 points. Callie Gillespie added 13 points. Resurrection Christian is 2-0 in the league.
Northridge 57, Mountain View 28: The Grizzlies picked up their second Class 5A/4A Longs Peak League win, and third victory in their last four games on Friday against the Mountain Lions. Northridge is 2-4 in the league and 5-6 overall.
Roosevelt 65, Berthoud 54: The Roughriders remained undefeated in the Class 5A/4A Longs Peak League and in first place in the league standings with a victory over the Spartans. Roosevelt is 5-0 in the league and 9-3 overall. Berthoud has a 3-3 league record and 9-4 overall.
Fossil Ridge 82, Greeley West 16: Fossil Ridge freshman Addilyn Sandstedt scored a season-high 36 points on 12 of 16 shooting from the field in the SaberCats’ 6A/5A/4A Northern League win over the Spartans. Fossil Ridge is 3-1 in the league and 10-4 overall. Greeley West is 0-4 in the league and 2-10 overall.
Highland 52, Platte Valley 47: Briza Flores scored 14 points for Highland in the Huskies’ close win over the Broncos. Freshman Bryla Bunting led Platte Valley with 14 points, and Lauryn Uyemura and Mia Koffler both scored 13 points. Highland is 2-0 in the Class 3A Patriot League and 6-5 overall. Platte Valley is 0-1 in the league and 8-3 overall.
Wiggins 71, Windsor Charter Academy 36: Wiggins moved to 2-1 in the Class 3A Patriot League and 7-4 overall with a win over Windsor Charter. WCA is 0-2 in the league and 7-4 overall.
Windsor 58, Poudre 34: Windsor won its third straight Class 6A/5A/4A Northern League game with a victory over Poudre. Windsor is 3-0 in the league and 8-4 overall. Poudre is 2-1 in the league and 4-8 overall.
Gilpin County 49, Union Colony 20: Gilpin County led 14-2 after the first quarter of its Class 3A/2A/1A Mile High League win. The Eagles are 3-0 in the league and 7-2 overall. Union Colony is 2-2 and 5-3.
Severance 50, Wellington 29: The Silver Knights moved to 2-4 in the Class 5A/4A Longs Peak League and 4-8 overall after a win over the Eagles. Wellington is 0-5 and 1-9.
