ESPN NFL analyst Troy Aikman’s appearance during the Minnesota Rams- Los Angeles Rams playoff game led to worries from fans.
The Dallas Cowboys legend was alongside play-by-play announcer Joe Buck while on the call of the Wild Card playoff game on Monday night.

However, the latter personality sounded different than his usual voice during the season.
At the beginning of the game, fans noticed Aikman’s raspy voice and speculated that the NFL Hall of Famer was battling an illness.
“Troy Aikman must have a cold or something. I’ve never heard him speak with this voice before,” one wrote.
“They letting Troy Aikman call a playoff game with laryngitis,” another commented.
“Man Troy’s voice sounds hoarse tonight. Guy is clearly battling something,” a third added.
Aikman was part of ESPN’s pregame show and helped the network analyze the Cowboys’ decision to part ways with head coach McCarthy.
He did appear to speak more clearly during that appearance.
This isn’t the first time that Aikman’s health has been in question during an ESPN broadcast this season.
During a November NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers, fans spotted Aikman who appeared to have bruised eyelids.
Aikman had marks around his eyes and it appeared there was dried blood on his eyelids.
The 58-year-old didn’t comment on his health situation and worked the following week – and his eyelids appeared to look back to normal.
Aikman will have to fight through the voice issues for Monday’s playoff game.
The Rams beat the Vikings by a score of 27-9 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The game was moved to the home of the Arizona Cardinals due to the ongoing California wildfires.
