Along with some major throwbacks from his impressive music career, Stewart shared a rare photo of himself posing with his kids and grandkids for a wedding earlier this year.
Stewart shared the birthday update on Instagram, writing in the caption, "Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes – 80 years young! ?."
"What an incredible journey it’s been – from unforgettable moments on and off the stage to earning some truly special honors along the way," he went on, before declaring, "But above all, my greatest joy has always been performing for you. Cheers to the memories we’ve made and the ones still to come! #80YearsOfRod."

But one photo puts his large family center stage, with Stewart looking suave in a lilac suit at his son Liam's wedding in June 2024. Included in the photo were all of Stewart's children, with Sarah, Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renee, Alastair Wallace and Aiden Patrick joining their father for Liam's big day.
The "Maggie May" singer's grandkids were in the photo too, such as Liam and now-wife Nicole's son, Louie, whom she was holding in the photo.
