While participating in a Q&A session for her upcoming film The Last Showgirl, Curtis was asked to share her thoughts on the fires.
“The entire Pacific Palisades looks like, you know, unfortunately Gaza or one of these war-torn countries where awful things have happened," the actress said.

On Thursday, Jan. 9, Curtis announced that she and her family would be donating $1 million from their Family Foundation “to start a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love there.”
