Zachary Levi Sends a Controversial Political Message Amid Los Angeles Fires ...Saudi Arabia

Levi, who grew up in Ventura, Calif., and spent 15 years in Los Angeles, appeared on Fox News' Jesse Waters Primetime on Wednesday, Jan. 8, where he called on the state's leaders to take accountability for the devastating destruction plaguing the city. 

According to the Shazam! actor, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and the rest of the state's leadership have been handling the situation poorly. 

Noting that some of the area's "worst" firestorms have taken place under Newsom's watch, Levi accused the state leadership of even being "criminally negligent." 

"I have no idea why they are doing or not doing the things that they are doing. But they must be held responsible," the Chuck alum further insisted, while adding, "This is not good leadership."

He added that he is "just sending as much light and love to everybody who's being affected right now."
