Multiple districts issue delays, closures for schools ahead of wintry weather ...Middle East

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — As winter weather approaches the Carolinas, multiple counties in the area have announced delays or school closures for Monday, Jan. 5.

As of Sunday night, Ashe County, Avery County Watauga County and the Caldwell County mountains are under a Winter Storm Warning. Alexander County, Burke County mountains, Greater Burke County and Greater Caldwell County are under Winter Weather Advisory.
