Vikings at Lions on SNF

The NFC North and number 1 seed in the playoffs comes down to a Sunday Night Football battle between the Detroit Lions (14-2) and the Minnesota Vikings (14-2). There is talent all over the field as we have a fantastic QB matchup with Jared Goff (36 TD Passes) faces Sam Darnold (35 TD Passes). They are throwing to stud wideouts like Justin Jefferson (1.479 yards, 10 TD) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (1,188 yards, 12 TD) in what looks to be a fantastic matchup.

The winner of tonight’s matchup is the number 1 seed in the NFC and secures not only home-field advantage but also a first-round bye. The loser will drop to the number 5 seed and hit the road to play either the Bucs or Falcons (NFC South winner).

Falcons Host Panthers

The Falcons dropped an overtime thriller 30-24 last week to the Commanders which puts them in a tough position. Atlanta needs to win today vs the Panthers while the Bucs have to lose to the Saints for the Falcons to win the NFC South and get in the playoffs. The pressure is on rookie Michael Penix Jr. who is 1-1 as a starter after taking over for Kirk Cousins. Last week, Penix Jr. was 19/35 for 223 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the loss to Washington.

Bucs Take on Saints

All the Bucs have to do is win and they are the NFC South championship and the number 4 seed in the NFC Playoffs. Last week, the Bucs got 5 touchdown passes from Baker Mayfield in a 48-14 rout of the Panthers. Today, they take on the Saints in a very winnable game. Spencer Rattler looks like he will be getting the start for the Saints as they look to spoil a potential playoff spot for the Bucs.
