This will be his seventh world final, with his last coming in 2023, when he was beaten by Michael Smith.
How much will the winner earn?
This final is the biggest payday in darts, with £500,000 for the winner and £200,000 for the runner-up.
The total prize money for each World Championship since 2019 has been £2.5m, although there has been discussion of doubling the current figure so the world champion gets a nice round £1m.
