Luke Littler guaranteed £100,000 as he SMASHES Nathan Aspinall to set up World Darts Championship semi vs Bunting ...Middle East

LUKE LITTLER destroyed his pal at the Ally Pally to set up a mouthwatering World Darts Championship semi-final.

The Nuke, 17, produced incredible purple patches to beat Nathan Aspinall 5-2 and now faces in-form fans’ favourite Stephen Bunting.

Making the last four means Littler is ensures Littler will win at least £100,000 – having already shattered records 12 months ago with his stunning run to the final.

He romped through the first set against one of his best pals in the sport, notching two 12-darters and averaging 119.

Aspinall took out double 12 to give himself instant hope in the second set, but Littler wrapped that up rampantly too with three legs in a row, starting with an 11-dart delight.

The Asp upped his game in the third set – a real thriller as he took the last two legs in style to close to 2-1 behind.

Then came an edgy start to the fourth set – the older man eventually holding.

Ten trebles in a row launched the next leg – including two maximums from the Nuke.

However, Aspinall appeared to be enjoying himself – even having to back away laughing from a throw at times due to excited fans.

And he was millimetres from levelling on sets as he just missed a bull finish.

Inside Littler's massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship at the beginning of the year.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has then gone on to win a host of PDC events and the Premier League title – which he claimed at the O2 Arena by beating world champion Luke Humphries in May.

He also finished his first season in the World Series as the No1 ranked player.

He has joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

But he is newly single after splitting from girlfriend Eloise Milburn following a 10-month relationship.

Littler then broke to go 3-1 up.

And it meant seven of the 12 legs he’d won were finished off in 12 darts or fewer.

Littler cruised to the fifth set 4-1.

A bull to go 2-1 up in the sixth took him to the brink but Aspinall nicked the next leg and took the following one to pull a set back.

But Littler threw first in the seventh set – and utterly dominated it to see out victory.

The Warrington star’s next opponent, Bunting, earlier held off a fightback from Peter Wright to win 5-2.
