COSTCO shoppers have attacked the retailer over concern it has decreased the size of its chicken bakes.
A Costco fan took to social media to complain the chicken item was “ a shell of its former glory”.

“Got a chicken bake and it’s absolutely a shell of its former glory.
“Same length as they used to be but seems like 30% skinnier.”
The chicken bake is a fan favorite at Costco, described as a chicken sandwich with cheese dressing and bacon baked inside a crispy crust.
The Reddit user is not the first person to complain about quality issues with the food court.
Costco members have been complaining about its chicken bake for some time now, warning the item has less filing and is not as satisfying as the original.
The chicken bake complaint sparked over 130 comments on Reddit, with many complaining about “shrinkage”.
Another fan agreed saying they are “hardly worth standing in line for”.
Another one agreed, saying “I still don’t understand the appeal of these”.
“They are far, far, far smaller than they were five years back,” another lamented.
Others compared the chicken bake to “taquitos” and “egg rolls”.
But one person disagreed, saying they were still “giant” at their local Costco.
The U.S. Sun reports on all things Costco, including how a savvy Costco member recently managed to score a full tray of the store’s popular deli sandwiches for just $1, all thanks to a clever loophole known as the ‘mislabeling’ trick.
In a post on Reddit, the user wrote in a Costco thread about their find.

“I’ve never found any good mislabeling until tonight, lol,” shared the user.
In the picture is a tray of assorted sandwiches, which are usually priced much higher.
COKE TO RETURN
Costco is also rumored to be making a change to its food court offering that has many customers clapping their hands in glee.
The retail giant is expected to bring back Coke to its soda fountains sometime next year, according to a post on social media.
A user on Reddit announced: “Good news for my fellow Costco-going [diet] coke enjoyers. My well-placed source said early 2025.”
Though the company used to sell Coca-Cola products in its food court, it stopped doing so in 2013.
Currently, Pepsi is being served in Costco food courts.
The Reddit post sparked a massive reaction from other users, with many Coke fans overjoyed at the drink’s return.
