Israel on Thursday faced accusations of "acts of genocide" and exhibiting "signs of ethnic cleansing" from leading NGOs this week amid its brutal military offensive in Gaza.
Rights group Human Rights Watch detailed deliberate efforts by Israeli authorities "of a systematic nature" to deprive Gazans of water, which had "likely caused thousands of deaths... and will likely continue to cause deaths".
In a separate report, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) accused Israel of causing widespread devastation in Gaza and noted "signs of ethnic cleansing" in the north of the Palestinian territory.
Meanwhile in Syria, the country's new interim government has promised to establish a fair justice system for those who committed crimes against Syrians under Assad's regime, amid mass protests in Damascus.
