In a video shared via social media, the Supreme Court Justice can be seen taking her place on Broadway, with people dubbing the moment "so refreshing."
On Saturday, Dec. 14, the 54-year-old realized a "childhood dream" and made her theater debut after scoring a role in & Juliet. Not only that, she also made history (again) by becoming the first Supreme Court Justice on Broadway—something she mentioned was a goal of hers in her memoir, Lovely One.
As for the actual play, it "flips the script on the greatest love story ever told. & Juliet asks: what would happen next if Juliet didn't end it all over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning and a second chance at life and love—her way," according to the production's website.
"This is the most epic video I’ve watched in so long. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson performed on broadway, while some of her Republican colleagues would’ve spent this time flying with billionaires. So cool. So refreshing. Justice Jackson is the best," one fan captioned a video of her in action.

On the other hand, some weren't as receptive to the diversion from her normal day-to-day career duties, writing things like, "This does nothing to help the American people," and calling it "So embarrassing."
