DENVER (KDVR) — A continuing investigation into an incident that sent several University of Colorado Boulder students to the hospital reported "extreme alcohol consumption" and some of them using drugs as the reasons behind their sickness. Boulder police initially believed tainted drugs were the factor behind the violent illness based on evidence gathered at the scene and used naloxone, an overdose reversal drug, during their response. Houses in these Colorado cities are projected to be over $1M in coming years But, as police have continued to investigate, they said it does not appear that fentanyl was involved.
