As a 45-year-old Chicago resident faces murder charges in a road rage-related shooting in the suburbs, police are offering safety tips for motorists tis holiday weekend. Phillip Rogers was charged with murder and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a felon after he was allegedly involved in a road rage incident with another driver earlier this week on Interstate 80. According to police, Rogers and the other driver were involved in a crash, and Rogers allegedly pulled out a weapon and shot the other driver, who was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
