The Blackhawks hit the ice at Fifth Third Arena on Monday and the lines were back in the blender, but this time there appeared to be some settling of things with some matches that have worked and made sense in the past. Of course the line everyone wants to hear/read about is the top line, which had Connor Bedard back at center between Taylor Hall and Philipp Kurashev. Head coach Luke Richardson said after the skate that they want to see Kurashev be more attacking; he’s a defensively responsible forward but they felt he was being too conservative at times when they need him to be a puck-seeking missile.
