Mathew J. Beers III 1945-2024 ...Middle East

BRIGHTON, Pa. — Mathew John Beers III passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1945, in Brighton, Pa., the son of Mathew Beers and Elizabeth Ann Beers, both deceased. He was an honorable veteran of the Attack Squadron, U.S. Army, serving his country during the Vietnam War. He retired from employment at GM and later worked as a security guard for St. Petersburg High School in Florida, residing with his brother, Gerald Beers. Mathew loved football, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Mathew will be deeply missed by his sons, Mathew Beers IV and Keith Beers (Lana); granddaughter, Shayna; his life partner, Karen Ashiolas;
