This was a semifinal game of the Sac Joaquin Section Division VII playoff tournament, with the winner moving on to the finals next week. The Bears started the game on offense and scored the first touchdown of the night with a beautiful 28-yard pass from Bryce Leveroos to Luke Larson. Not to be outdone, the Lions drove down and scored on a 21-yard pass, but with the Bears blocking the extra point, they still led 7 to 6.
