DENVER (KDVR) — The driver accused of speeding through a Thornton intersection, striking a car and killing four members of a family inside, died on Nov. 7, according to police. The crash was reported just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. at the intersection of Thornton Parkway and Washington Street. Police said that a Subaru sedan was speeding north on Washington Street, as a Ford SUV with four occupants was stopped in the northbound lanes of Washington Street for a red light at the intersection.
