Pakistani aid plane for arrivals from Lebanon lands at Damascus Int’l Airport ...Syria

Damascus, SANA- A Pakistani air plane carrying 16 tons of relief, medical supplies and foodstuffs for those arriving from Lebanon to Syria landed Sunday at Damascus International Airport. “The Pakistani government and people, thank and appreciate the valuable efforts made by the Syrian government to help those arriving from Lebanon,” Pakistani Ambassador in Damascus, Shahid Akhtar said in a statement to reporters. “The private, semi-governmental ‘Foundation Service’ is collecting humanitarian aid for the arrivals, and this shipment includes a load weighing 16 tons, which is part of the total amount of medical and food aid that will be provided, amounting to 80 tons,” Ambassador Akhtar added.
