Bhubaneswar: Prof. Manoranjan Parida, Director, Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi, has been elected as the President of IRC during the Annual Session of IRC held at Raipur on 11th November 2024. IRC is the largest professional body of Highway Engineers dealing with Highway infrastructure such as highways, bridges and tunnels etc. He is the 3rd Odia to hold this prestigious office in the last 90 years of IRC history. Prof. Parida, an alumnus of UCE Burla currently known as VSSUT Burla is an academician of high repute. He has been the Deputy Director of IIT Roorkee before joining CSIR-CRRI.
