MATTHEWS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) - Three people suffered serious injuries in a wreck involving a tractor-trailer Monday morning in Matthews, Medic said. Matthews Fire and EMS said crews were on scene along East John Street between I-485 and Union County. Medic said three people were transported from a wreck involving a tractor-trailer with serious injuries. Roadways are expected to be closed for an extended period of time. This is a Developing Story.
