This industry has withstood imported alternatives thanks to the craftsmen’s adherence to the heritage of their fathers and grandfathers by preserving this profession. “60 years ago, my father was the first to establish a factory for manufacturing chandeliers in Syria in an artistic, manual way”, Faisal Ghazi is one of the craftsmen who have made a profession of making handmade chandeliers told SANA asserting that he and his brothers inherited this profession and they want to pass it on to anyone
