The Buckeyes host Purdue, who will try to get an upset for its first Big Ten win of the year. Saturday marks the 60th meeting between the two schools. OSU has won the last two meetings and the last nine at Ohio Stadium. The Boilermakers last win over the Buckeyes came in 2018 and was the last victory by an unranked team over Ohio State. Freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is one touchdown away from breaking the program record for most touchdowns by a freshman, set by Cris Carter in 1984.
