Monday is Veterans Day, a significant American holiday, and we are prompted to honor and salute those who fought for our freedom and the fallen soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in World War II. There were numerous Newport Harbor High graduates who went on to serve our country in the military in the European and Pacific theaters.
