Srinagar: The Indian and Chinese armies on Friday started coordinated patrolling of Demchok on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh while patrolling in Depsang plains will also start soon, defence sources said. The coordinated patrolling by the armies of the two countries came after the completion of disengagement in both Demchok and Depsang. This marks the disengagement of all the friction points of the standoff between the two armies that began in May 2020.
