A Louisiana trucker who abused, tortured and beat his toddler daughter to death in 2002 is set to be executed Friday, one of several people scheduled to be put to death during President Trump’s lame duck period. Alfred Bourgeois, 55, was convicted of capital murder in 2004 for killing his 2-year-old daughter at Naval Air Station-Corpus Christi, Texas.
