NBA Playoff Game 3: OKC Thunder 3-0 New Orleans Pelicans

Sport by : (PRESSBEE) -

Oklahoma City Thunder and the New Orleans Pelicans was a thrilling match that left fans on the edge of their seats. The Thunder dominated from the start, with their star player Russell Westbrook leading the charge. Westbrook's incredible performance, scoring 30 points and dishing out 10 assists, proved to be too much for the Pelicans to handle.

The Pelicans put up a good fight, but ultimately fell short against the powerhouse Thunder team. The final score of 110-95 in favor of OKC solidified their lead in the series at 3-0.

After leading by four points at the end of the opening quarter, the Thunder did not fall behind throughout the rest of the game. New Orleans cut the deficit to just one point in the second quarter, although Oklahoma City quickly responded with an impressive 14-0 run before holding a 60-46 advantage at the half.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued to produce in the playoffs, dropping 24 points and dishing out eight assists in 37 minutes of action. He held his own on the defensive end of the floor as well, racking up four steals.

New Orleans. OKC chants echoing through a hallowed Smoothie King Center. Shai, Giddey and Chet all score at least 21 points. OKC shoots 48.2% FG, 47.2% from 3.

Not even Zion Williamson, who sat on the bench in a brown jogging suit, could rescue the Pels now. If his hamstring all of a sudden heals and he plays Monday, maybe the Pelicans could steal a win at home and send the series back to Oklahoma City for a gentleman’s sweep instead of the regular kind.

Zion Williamson went down with a hamstring injury during the play-in tournament. C.J. McCollum led New Orleans with 22 shot attempts on Saturday, although he connected on just seven of them.

If the Thunder are able to win Game 4, they'll secure the organization's first playoff series sweep since 2012.

As the series moves forward, it is clear that the Thunder are a force to be reckoned with and are poised to make a deep run in the playoffs. Fans can expect more exciting matchups as these two talented teams continue to battle it out on the court.
