Two Glasgow Celtic supporters are recovering in Rome after being stabbed in separate incidents in advance of the club's UEFA Europa League tie with Lazio in the Italian capital on Wednesday evening. It has been confirmed by Italian authorities that a 52-year-old man was stabbed following a brawl between sets of supporters of both clubs outside an Irish bar. A second fan, 35, was stabbed sometime later in Piazza Beniamino Gigli, a short distance from the location of the initial incident. Neither injury is thought to be life-threatening.
