New Indian map shows UTs of J&K, Ladakh ...Middle East

The government on Saturday released the new political map of India following the bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir into two new Union Territories - J&K and Ladakh. This is for the first time that a state was converted into two UTs. The total number of states in the country are now 28, while the total UTs have gone up to nine.
