High school girls basketball teams, however, were grinding away at holiday tournaments in preparation for their respective league seasons. Here’s how some teams from the Daily News coverage area fared in tournament play: WEST COAST JAMBOREE Sierra Canyon won the highest division — the Platinum Division — of the West Coast Jamboree, which was held last week in the San Francisco Bay Area.
