Juventus insist they are not interested in rejoining the European Club Association despite Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s invitation. Juventus left ECA in 2021 after joining the so-called ‘European Super League’ a project they had contributed to creating alongside La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. Their former Chairman, Andrea Agnelli, had stepped down as ECA’s President when the Super League was announced and was replaced by PSG’s Al-Khelaifi. However, the Super League project didn’t last long as, 48 hours after the official announcement, all five Premier League clubs invited withdrawn, followed by Atletico Madrid, Milan and Inter.
