New footage has shown just how emotional Cristiano Ronaldo was as Portugal won this year’s Nations League title.
Portugal beat their neighbours Spain 5-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw during normal time in Munich.

Ronaldo covered his eyes after Alvaro Morata missed for Spain and then fell to his knees once Neves fired in the winner.
During the Portugal celebrations, television cameras also panned to Ronaldo lying on the turf with his head in his hands.
And fans on social media loved seeing the emotion from the 40-year-old after winning another trophy with his country.
“Emotional legend,” said one on X.
Another added: “I’m not crying!”

After the match, he admitted that he was tearful after adding yet another piece of silverware to his extensive collection.
“I cried, but you know I do cry easily,” he told the media as translated by Sporty.com.
“I’m very happy because I knew that all the Portuguese fans were supporting us. My family are here, my children, so I was very happy.”
Arsenal target Martin Zubimendi scored the opener for Spain on 21 minutes before Nuno Mendes equalised moments later.
Mikel Oyarzabal ensured Portugal trailed at half-time, but Ronaldo scored his 138th international goal to level the scoring.

Former Wolves midfielder Neves then netted to make Portugal the record two-time Nations League winners.
After the match, Ronaldo said: “Winning for Portugal is always special.
“I have many titles with clubs, but nothing is better than winning for Portugal. It’s tears. It’s duty done and a lot of joy.”
