Matteo Darmian’s contract with Inter expires at the end of the season and the club are prepared to reward him with a new deal. The Italian full back arrived in the Lombardy capital back in October 2020, initially on loan from Parma before he made a permanent move the following year. His tactical flexibility and experience have made him a useful part of the squad over the last three years. Darmian is a trusted member of Simone Inzaghi’s set up and he’s featured prominently this season, seeing 1201 minutes of action across 17 total appearances in Serie A and the Champions League.
