A Canadian alpine skier from B.C. has sustained head injuries in a fall during training ahead of World Cup races in the U.S. Alpine Canada says in a statement that Broderick Thompson fell during training before the upcoming races, to be held in Beaver Creek, CO. “Broderick was airlifted to Denver Health Centre where he is receiving the best possible care. He is alert and his condition is stable, and he is showing steady improvement,” Alpine Canada said Friday.
