OBETZ, Ohio — The Perrysburg boys cross country team had its highest finish ever as a team at the state meet Saturday at Fortress Obetz, placing 10th. Out of 117 teams in Division I statewide, Perrysburg was ranked 17th, but like the girls, who were ranked third and won a state championship, the boys team proved the naysayers wrong. Massillon Jackson (86) won the team championship, followed by Mason (148), Olentangy Orange (172), Cincinnati St. Xavier (178), Rocky River (191), Medina (210), Toledo St. Francis (249), Dublin Coffman (252), Springboro (279), and Perrysburg (281).
