The Mendocino Book Company will host an author event on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with “UnBroken: The Trauma Response is Never Wrong” with author MaryCatherine McDonald, PhD. McDonald is a research professor, certified grief counselor and life coach who specializes in the psychology and philosophy of trauma. The second author event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with “Of Butterflies and Bullies,” by Ukiah author Jen Dalton.
