Zoar celebrates anniversary by preparing meals ...Middle East

PERRYSBURG — On Oct. 1, several volunteers at Zoar Lutheran Church celebrated the 25th anniversary of their Family Life Center with a special service project. Three shifts of volunteers participated in Rise Against Hunger. This was a service opportunity where volunteers packaged meal kits to help satisfy hunger throughout the world. This food packing event was a great way to celebrate the anniversary of the Family Life Center, as the facility provides space for members of the church and the community to live out their mission: to Gather, Grow and Give.
