JIM Irsay took ownership of the Indianapolis Colts after the death of his father in 1997.
Now, after his death at 65 years old, Irsay is passing the Colts along to his three daughters.

“Jim’s dedication and passion for the Indianapolis Colts in addition to his generosity, commitment to the community, and most importantly, his love for his family were unsurpassed.”
The plan for the Colts’ succession involves Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson.
Each of Irsay’s daughters currently hold the title of vice chair/owner.
The late Colts owner previously stated that his daughters are all equals in team ownership and will continue to be involved in the team after his death.
One daughter will hold the vote as principle owner, but it won’t be a fixed role and can be rotated.
All three daughters have served as vice chair/owner for the last 12 years, focusing on different initiatives over that time.
Carlie Irsay-Gordon

According to the Indianapolis Star, she will “primarily take charge of the football side of the franchise.”
Before Irsay’s death, Carlie served as a member of the NFL‘s Media Owned & Operated Committee, which oversees NFL Network, NFL.com, NFL Mobile, and other media properties.
She also served as a member of the NFL’s Security & Fan Conduct Committee.
Carlie has represented the Colts at Owners’ meetings since 2004.
She lives in Indianapolis with her husband Zach Gordon and three children.
Casey Foyt
GettyCasey Foyt has spent 12 years as Colts vice chair and focuses on community relations[/caption]Like her sister, Casey has represented the Colts at NFL Owners’ Meetings for years.
She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in sports marketing, and quickly put that to use in the NFL.
Foyt was involved in bringing the first NFL game to London at Wembley Stadium in 2007.
After that, she joined the Colts organization and focused on community relations and marketing.
Foyt rebuilt the Indianapolis Colts Women’s Organization and helps plans its fundraisers.
She lives in Carmel, Indiana with her husband, Anthony J. Foyt IV, and their five children.
Kalen Jackson
GettyKalen Jackson is Irsay’s youngest daughter and focuses on philanthropy[/caption]Jackson is the youngest of Irsay’s three daughters, and joined the team in 2010.
She is at the forefront of the Irsay family’s philanthropic efforts.
Jackson leads Kicking the Stigma, the Irsay family’s initiative to raise awareness about mental heath disorders.
Irsay’s youngest daughter is also president of the Indianapolis Colts Women’s Organization alongside Foyt and represents the team at NFL Owners’ Meetings like her sisters.
Jackson is the youngest member of the NFL’s Employee Benefits Committee.
She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Boyd Jackson, and their two daughters.
