Seminoles went into Death Valley to face Clemson and never had a lead — until overtime.
Florida State trailed 17-7 late in the first half and then 24-17 late in the third quarter, but was able to pull out a gutsy 31-24 win in overtime to post its first win over Clemson since 2014 and remain undefeated.
Keon Coleman caught the game-winning touchdown in overtime as he high-pointed a beautiful pass from Jordan Travis over a Clemson defender. And when the Clemson offense got its turn in overtime, Florida State’s defense stopped the Tigers on fourth down to seal the victory.
Keon Coleman in overtime to win the game for the Seminoles 31-24, their first victory at Clemson since 2013. It allowed Florida State to remain undefeated after yet another close call. The touchdown throw gave Florida State its first lead of the game.
"I feel like we were disrespected all day," Travis said afterward. "I mean, you put one-on-one against Johnny Wilson, and Keon Coleman, I feel like you have no respect for either the receivers or the quarterback. I missed a lot of throws early on against one-on-ones. I wish I could go back and complete them. But man, we stepped up when we needed to. Keon made a big-time play, the offensive line gave me time and that's just a fade one-on-one. I like my guy every single time."
The Clemson Tigers dropped out of the Top 25 for the first time in two seasons, but starting quarterback Cade Klubnik isn't worried. 
Florida Atlantic in Week 3. After a Week 1 upset loss to unranked Duke, the Tigers are looking for more wins as the Tigers look to claw their way back into the Top 25. 
Clemson has practically owned the ACC for the past near decade, however, that could flip around very soon. Florida State's recent emergence both in the transfer portal and recruiting under Mike Norvell's leadership is very promising for both now and the future in Tallahassee.
